understanding impact of pills - depression/anxiety/gastritis

Well, let me begin with my story from the beginning:In 1993 I began suffering from a chronic gastritis disorder:  practically couldn't eat anything anymore. I had a lot of exmaninations and a lot of medications in order to resolve this problem. Finally I went to a specialist and he gave me the following cocktail of pills: 5 mg redomex (amytriptyline), 30 mg sulpride and 150 mg mebeverine and it worked. I took this for at least 1,5 year. Now many years later, last year(2000) I began to have a moderate depression/anxiety attacks (I also began to be very shy and nervous).I went to a psycho analyst and I am still seeing her. But recently the depression really got into my stomach and I wasn't able to eat anymore because of the chronic gastritis pain.So I began to take the medication again, above mentioned. And again I am able to control my stomach pain already after a few hours.Aparently it seems to be that for example redomex helps to ease the chronic pain of psychologically origine. But now the impact of those pills on me are far bigger than in 1993 when I still didn't suffer from any depression: I feel more tired, I have erection problems (a decreased libido) and my mood can shift quickly from anxiety attacks and light depression to  positive attitude (like to communicate, act in presence of others-although I always have been a bit extrovert person). These symptoms already appeared after a few days. Now my questions are the following:1/are those pills dangerous(especially sulpride)? 2/Is the dosage high? 3/ Can it really affect my personality? 4/Will my impotence come back?

Neither I nor others here know about two of the medications you have described, so we can not comment. Are you getting these medications in Europe or Canada?
