I was diagnosed with sexual perfromance anxiety.  Before this incident I had never had any problems becomming aroused my a woman or to masterbate.  I was told all bodily functions were normal and I went to some thearpy to help deal with the problem.  I have become obsessed with trying to make myself aroused and seeing if I can become erect.  My personality I guess has been one of the obsessing type my whole life and this problem has really worried me.  Its gotten to the point where I'm not aroused by things I used to be.  I even asked myself do I like men b/c I can't figure this out event though I had never had these thought in my 25 years of life thus far.  The shear thought of considering that really worried me.  I've gone to some thearpy and I'm currently taking 5htp to help sleep and deal with anxiety.  Do you think I'm obsessing about this or do I possibly need medication.

You are obsessing about it but more importantly you are trying to hard to make it happen through conscious will power and purposely trying to stimulate your interest.  This makes you too self conscious, and just by being self conscious, you stop the natural process from working.  The best thing you can do is take your mind off the subject for a week or two...rest your mind, and let nature take its course.  If that does not work, then deal with this in counseling sessions.
