Try getting a seated MRI. My MRI didn't show anything lying down, but the seated one did.
the orthopedic didn't see anything. what pissed me off with him is he wont prescribe meds worth anything if he doesn't CUT ON YOU. but the ******* used my insurance out the ass making himself money and everybody else in his click. but i'm still in pain....he better be glad i could check a box to pay the lowest amount possible for his services.....i take it as "well i can't charge her the most i can so now i won't waste me time or signature.....some ethics, the creed. so anybody in alabama----dr scholl on franklin st hsv make sure you have a herniated disk or he won't do ****---hell yeah i'm letting you know..... we should let people know who's worth our insurance and time....the more they do this the longer we are in pain
Yes, I believe that is a common problem. It seems if it has just happened, or in the process of herniated, it doesn't show up on the MRI. I have the same problems as you, and the doctor just originally said muscle strain and started inflammatories then come back in a month. The sent for MRI, which showed the herniated disc. Have you seen a neuro or orthopedist? Better the just a GP. You know your own body the bet, don't settle for a just wait and see approach. Best of luck.
