Man, forget about MRI's neurologist or any other exam. What you got is just stress and such stress is causing stiffness in your neck. Best thing to do is to visit a chiropractor who manipulates your neck and release that pressure. I had exactly the same symptoms including tinnitus (ringing in my ears) and after visiting the chiropractor 4 or 5 times the symptoms went away almost 100%. You are too young the be worrying about brain tumors, MRI's, etc. Live the life, rationalize your problems and...... go the chiropractor.
Good luck.
You need to see a neurologist and get an MRI of your brain and cervical spine.
Hi I am a 32 year old female who totally can relate to your story. About 3 years ago I was having the feeling like the floor was dipping down under me and every once and awhile i would get cold sweats. I felt like I was in a fog when I got like that. I went to the doctor and had and MRI. Everything was normal, even the blood work. My Doctor said she thought it might be painless migrains. She sent me to a neurologist and my mistake I told him after he did the tests on me that my doctor thought it was painless migraines. So that was his conclusion as well. I felt dumb for telling him that. Anyway after $3,000 wasted my problem still wasn't solved. So I started trying to figure it out myself. I quit drinking diet pop (aspertame) sp? and my symptons seem to get better.
But now almost 4 years later I am having the same problems but I have the neck pain and the pressure behind my eyes as well. It almost feels like I am hanging upside down. I am going to stop all soda and keep an eye on my blood pressure. So please let me know if you find anything out. I am tired of wasting my money on those freaking doctors! Thanks and Good Luck!
Though I am twice your age, I can relate to your symptoms. Out of nowhere, I woke up with tightness in my head, pressure in my ears, occasional blurred vision, overall weakness, and some feelings of numbness in my face and limbs. My neuro ordered an MRI which was normal as was my clinical evaluation. I was diagnosed with "neck tension that could be causing cranial nerve compression" Who Knows? Anyway, I have now been at this for seven months and I've learned to not fear the symptoms. It seems they are not as intense until I read something that alarms me...then they really go nuts. I wish you the best, and hope you will not allow these symptoms to consume you. It will really make you ill. Take care
