Brain inflammation/scar tissue

My 5 year old daughter recently was reffered to a pediatric neurologist because she was having headaches. She had an MRI and they found some white spots on her brain, which he said was probably not even related to the headaches, but he said it could be scar tissue or inflammation. He told me it could be from a simple ear infection. This seems strange, is this true? He wanted to evaluate her because he said kids that have this are usually very sick with seizures or other serious symptoms, and my daughter has absolutely no other symptoms at all. He said he does not want to jump on anything right now because she is perfect other than the white spots. Should I worry?
What are some things if any that it could be ? Could it really just be inflamation due to an ear infection? Dr. has scheduled her for another MRI in 2 weeks (her last was 3 weeks ago). I'm so worried now!!!Please help.

Go to another Doctor, even though she dosn't have any other troubles now dos not mean she wont.  i'm 22 now, but at 20 they rushed me to the hospitial after i passed out, i had bad head achs that never went away, but i was also having sezuires, but never knew it, the people around me did, but the er doctor did a CT said i had a cycst, that i should see my family doctor, and sent me home.  Your best bet is to see another doctor till they tell you what it is, sometimes you'll have to ask point blank.  i hope all goes well and that she feels better.  good luck
