VEEG results?

I was hoping Bob Hilton was around?  If anyone is familiar with VEEG results maybe you can explain this.  I am 41 y.o female with c/o numbness tingling bilateral legs and arms with feelings of heaviness in extremety and extreme fatigue.  I also have a vibratory sensation in legs. Symptoms for 11 months.  I was ruled out for MS, normal MRI of brain (small flair lesion non specific) MRI of c-spine, lumbar negative. Spinal tap neg.  EMG neg.  VEEG 5 day showed presence of rare right temporal region sharp waves and intermittent prolonged periods of generalized polymorphic theta at 6-7Hz. Findings are indicative of cortical hyperexcitability in the right temporal region.  The intermittent periods of generalized theta could represent drowsiness or diffuse dysfunction. No seizures noted.  I would appreciate any advice. Thanks

I'm curious.  Given the symptoms that you listed why was a VEEG done?

The neurologist thought that possibly my symptoms were seizure related.  I also had periods were I felt "spacy" and frequent dizziness. Many times I feel as if I'm in a fog and have difficulty retaining information.  Thats why they did the inital EEG, when that was abnormal (decreased theta waves) I sought a second opinion and that Neurologist recommended the 5 day VEEG.  Thanks.
