lots of symptoms---but of what????

Hello all- I was really hoping to tap into some of your wisdom. Like most I have a HISTORY, so I will give all facts w/out all the story behind each....37 year old female, hashimotos thyroiditis-managed with levathyroid, chronic osteomyelitis ( jaw, left foot and possibly both shoulders), Left ankle and foot surgery to repair torn ligament-3 years ago.-Also-no other meds besides thyroid.
SYMPTOMS; bone pain (9 years),muscle pain(feels like deep bruise),joint pain, LEFT FOOT; burning cramping & bruised feeling-(arch and top of foot),mild calf cramps,LEFT ARM & HAND; palm feels like bruised meat W/sharp burning pain, joints ache,LEFT FOREARM;tendon running from inside of elbow to wrist tight, burns & feels bruised, MUSCLES IN NECK;(front and back) burn & feel super tight. Also wide spread fasiculations.
ALL OF THESE SYMPTOMS WAX AND WANE---I CAN GO FOR WEEKS FEELING PRETTY GOOD - THEN I GET HIT. MOST SYMPTOMS HAVE COME AND GONE OVER THE LAST 7 YEARS......LATELY THOUGH I AM FEELING LIKE MY LEFT ARM IS VISIBLY LOSING MUSCLE TONE AND IS WEAKER THAN MY RIGHT(WHICH IS MY DOMINATE HAND).    Way back when the doctors were trying to figure out the ostemyelitis thing I had an MRI, ct scan, bone scan, CBC, some test with tiny needles to check my muscles (not very pleasant), and xrays  galore.
So does any of this (obviously besides the osteomyelitis stuff) sound familiar to any one?? I have a crazy fear of A.L.S. ---all the other bad ones are also there ever present.
Thank you in advance for any guidance.

If you are having (what sounds like) widespread joint pain and muscle pain-and some weakness-you might want to check into the various connective tissue diseases/ask your doctor to check you for those.  There are antibodies that are associated with most if not all of them.  Having one autoimmune disease (Hashimoto's) makes it more likely that you might have another autoimmune disease.

You might want to check into RSD- reflex sympathetic dystrophy. Its a painful nerve disorder that can happen after injury, surgery or other trauma to any part of the body. It can cause nerve and other pain in the area that is affected and then sometimes spread too. Alot of people with RSD start to have nerve/muscle pain in the area affected then it eventually spreads to other parts of the body- especially the side originally affected. it can cause other problems too. There are some other pain disorders that could be looked into also. I would recommend seeing either a neuro that deals with RSD/neuropathy/chronic pain or possibly a pain specialist. I hope you can find some answers!
