Dull Achy Pain constant

by rtapmb, Sep 27, 2006 12:00AM
I am presently waiting for results from IUS, US, blood work and urine analysis, but 5 weeks between is driving me crazy.  I had pre-cancerous cells CIN 2 & 3 when I was 23 was treated with good results.  Kept up with paps for few years but then lost doctor and took a few years to get a new one (very hard where I live).  My new doctor has not done a pap for the last 5 years.  I am 39 now.  Grandmother and mother died of cancer. My symptoms have been ongoing for several months and finally my doc is responding and sending me to Gyn.  I have constant pain on both sides but more on left.  Intercourse is very painful and sometimes causes bleeding.  Periods are very light 1-2 days, more spotting than bleeding.  Frequent urination due to feeling of pressure in pelvic area.  Lately I've had burning sensation on left back and dizziness when bent at all.  Don't know if all related or sereval things going on but my main concern is uterine, ovarian cancer.  Any input would be appreciated.

Hi There,

I think we should wait for the blood work, urine analysis, and ultrasound. It is hard to know what is going on without information about the physical exam and these tests.

let me know

take care

Sorry forgot to mention have been extremely tired and am now down to 84 pounds, was at 120 before any of this started. Doc said I was just losing weight from my pregnancy.  I was 86 pounds when I was 18 but at 39 I think I should be more. I still eat the same as before, no real cause to lose the weight within 3 months.
