your opinion on My CT scan

Good day!! I was having severe abdominal pain major foul gas and not haveing BM's went to the doc had CT scan can you tell me what you think about this report? thanks so much for all you do!!!!!
CT scan says:In the pelvis there are bilateral low attenuation masses that appear to be arising from the adnexal regions bilaterally. these are multilocular in appearance with enhancing septations and enhancing wall. these extend from deep pelvis area almost to the level of the lower abdominal area. on the right the lesion measures 6.5 cm in greatest transverse dimension x 9.5 cm in AP dimension. on the left measures 5.2 cm in tranverse x 8.8 in AP dimension. no mass effect is exerted on the ureters. no free fluid is seen in pelvis. there is no adenopathy identified the lung base is clear.

Hi Bug,
I think you need to have those masses removed. They appear to be some kind of tumor of the ovaries. most tumors are benign but there is always a chance of a malignancy. The information that is reassuring against this being a malignancy is not having any free fluid and not enlarged lymph nodes. But the only way to be sure is surgery

Thank you thank you doc....that is the most direct words i have got in months!! My doctor has said it is something that needs to be looked at more and has set me up for an gyno appt on wed and a MRI on friday. Should I request a CA125 too? he is a great doctor...actually a genral surgeon but hasnt really told me the ins and outs of this situation so agian I thank you.........bug
