leg pain

Is leg pain often associated with ovarian cyst or cancer? It keeps being listed as a symptom of ovc but it does not say what type of leg pain. Along with lower abdominal pain i have been having a dull achey feeling in my thighs, kind of like a growing pain you get as a kid. is this the type of pain they are talking about or it is more sharp and severe?

Hi There,
leg pain can occur if a mass is large enough to press on the nerves and bloods vessels int he pelvis. this can cause swelling of the leg, a blood clot in the vein of the leg, or just pain.

in the absence of finding a mass in the pelvis by exam and x rays, leg pain is probably not related to a gynecologic condition.
if you have not had an exam and x rays, you should see a doctor for evaluation.
take care
