11 year old daughter with Ovarian cyst!

My 11 year old daughter was diagnosed with a golf ball sized ovarian cyst on her left side. I had a hysterectomy due to endometriosis and chronic ovarian cysts. Can endo be inherited and does it sound like she is in for the same pain and agony I experienced the entire time I had a cycle? I am feeling really guilty right now, I feel responsible for her pain!
