I'm a wee bit confused..........!
he path reports say i had a 'borderline mucinous tumour which had engulfed my ovary, so my ovary was actually inside the cyst'. I had a 'normal fallopian tube with paratubal cysts' on it. I had the tube and ovary removed because they were all stretched and mangled.
My question is - did i have cancer? Is a borderline tumour still classed as a cancer and therefore graded as a cancer? If so what would i be graded as?
I recently had a cyst show up on a routine scan but it appears to have gone although i still have the pain, but i was worried it may have been the same as last time until i was told it was gone. What are the chances of a recurrence, and am if this wasnt cancer am i likely to be prone to ovarian cancer considering the borderline tumour?
