question about terms used here

Hi Ladies,

Hope everyone is having a good day. I don't know yet when my surgery is, but did find out it will be in Dallas.

My question today is: What does TAH/BOS stand for? I think I have the TAH, but BOS has me stumped. I'm still a newbie here, I've only been on the rollercoaster for 3 (LONG) weeks now. So a lot of the abbreviations used here have me stumped. How about some of you experienced ladies enlightening us newbies?

Hugs and prayers to all of you!

We all know LOL is "laugh out loud" and ROFL is rolling on floor laughing....basicly.

I came up with "laughing so hard had to cross legs" LSHHTCL

Figured this group could relate!    Cindi

Might be helpful for ya. Frequently used in medical field:
Dx = diagnose/diagnosis
Tx = treatment
ovca = ovarian cancer
CA = cancer
HTN = hypertension (high blood pressure)
UTI = urinary tract infection
AB = antibiotic
Rx = prescription/medicine (you probablyknew that one!)

Can't think of anymore that work for this forum. Hope that helps

I think you are referring to MWBC. That refers to moan, whine, b*tch and complain.

Oh ya! Sorry, I like using abbreviations, bad typist!
MRI = fancy imaging test, Magnetic resonance Imaging
CT/CAT scan = another fancy imaging, COmputer aided tomography
US = ultrasound
IBS = irritable bowel syndrome
BCP/BC = birth control pills
gyn/onc = gynecological oncologist
PCOS = polycystic ovary syndrome

What I want to know is, what does MWMC stand for?
