Sometimes if a thread is older a new post can get missed since this site doesn't "bump" threads with replies to the top. You might want to start a new thread so the gals here can help you. I am sorry to not be of help.
hi...i haven't been diagnosed with cancer....but i stay bloated all the time and being treated for IBS. I am on zelnorm, and still haveing the bloating actually its getting worse...i have also been to all kinds of doctors and they keep sending me to one of the other doctors....and only one of them suspect oc
i am misserable all the time...i just thought when i started taking the zelnorm that the bloating would go away...isn't that what its supose to do...keep all of that under control.i know i have lost my appetite and very low energy..more heartburns. i have had 2 ultra sounds in the past 6 months and they both show cyst on both ovaries and free fluid and a fibroid in my uterus....could this be the reason of the bloating and be normal....the doctors have told me that its normal but my body is telling me otherwise...i have ask them to send me to a cancer specialist but they won't...i just need to get my mind eased....can anyone help me to what to ask or do...GOING INSANE HERE
Your stomach sounds like mine, during my surgery and my having the OC for so long without being diagnosed I had not ate in so long that i had lost about 50 pounds and when I started gaining weight my stomach was the first thing to puff out. Now its real PUFFY!!!! I gained all that back!!
Yes, I feel bloated. Actually, I feel normal...which is bloated. I don't know it any other way! It's just I was so nice and flat after surgery and now start to bulge again, and it seems to come from within, not from the bumps around the incision. But then again, I have gained 12 pounds since the surgery so things will natually feel different. Will talk to my onc in 2 weeks and will let you know what he says. There's just not much info online about ascites and ovarian cancer.
Just wanted to let you know after my surgery(hysterectomy) and treatment, the shape of my stomach is alot different now it looks like it is bloated but it is not, I had the same worry. With your ca-125 holding it's hard for me to think that you would have ascities again. Do you feel bloated ?
