Does a ruptured cyst affect being able to concieve?

I hope someone can help me, I heard somewhere that when a cyst ruptures it can affect your chances of concieveing. I know i have numerous cysts on both overies and one ruptured about 4 years ago and now im trying to concieve and have been unsuccessfull, and then i heard this. I hope this is not true. Any advise would be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks!

I know my oldest niece had multiple cysts(that burst) when she was a teenager.  She had no problem getting pregnant.  In fact she had a pregnancy scare after she had her tubes tied.  False alarm.  I on the other hand had a problem getting pregnant and because my niece is only 5 years younger than me( her mom-my oldest sister was 17 when I was born) we ended up pregnant at the same time. She had her son 4 months before I had mine.  Babies did not happen often in my family so having the last grandchild and first great granchild born so close together was a banner year for our families.  Good  luck and if it takes you more that a year to get pregnant see a fertility specialist.  It was worth it for me.

A ruptured cyst doesn't preclude fertility, however there is a disease called polycystic ovarian disease than can affect fertility.  Run to the doc and have a thorough history and PE and good luck.
