My goodness...I think it's grown some more!

I just finished my next to last period and it was a weird one. I bled for a couple of days and then nothing. After 5 days it came back with a vengence! Bad cramps and very heavy bleeding. Yesterday, I woke up and weighed myself as I usually do and I was 5 pounds heavier! My rings were tighter and my face was a little swollen. I peed like crazy all day and I did loose a couple of those pounds. Anyway, when I stand up I can actually see that the right side of my abdomen is larger than the left! I have a mid-line scar from above my belly button down to my pubic region so it is easy to compare sides. I think the monster on my ovary has grown even more. Last U/S it was 7.5 x 6.6 x 4.5. I am sure glad surgery is coming soon. I just got the call that my pre-admission clinic is booked for May 1. My surgery is scheduled for May 16. Just over a month to wait! I go see another specialist tomorrow regarding my chronic pancreatitis. He better not suggest surgery! I swore after my bowel resection I would never go under the knife again but I guess I was wrong! Anyway, hope everyone is having a good day.
Cheers,
Michelle

Like you I swore after my 7th surgery last May that I would never go thru another surgery. That one one for a cervical fusion and was just awful!! But now I'm just thinking come on and get this thing or whatever out of me so the pains stops and life can get back to normal. My surgery is May 10th. Hang in there and see you on the RS. You're in my thoughts and prayers.
Hugs,
Darlyn

Was just reading this post and noticed we have the same surgery date - may 10th! What are you having done? Mine is a laparotomy to remove solid mass on right ovary...

Will be thinking of you! Gloria
