fluid in cul-de-sac post hysterectomy

hi, I'm 35, 12 yrs ago had hyst. believed nothing left last wk had CT due to left pelvic pain discovered have both ovaries and tubes Ct showed multiloculated fluid sacs one in cul-de-sac 8.7cmx3.5cm and ovarian cyst I was exposed to DES inutero just moved and new Dr. wants exploratory surgery no explanation questions are: has anyone else been exposed to DES and experiencing same? IS exploratory the best alternative I've been hurting about 9 months last 3 weeks steadily gotten worse. pathology from hysterectomy was CINiii. no endometriosis. brother just passed away from adenocarcinoma and sister had part of bladder removed for same. bld test are norm. but so was theirs. Ct also showed calcification in spleen looks like granulamata.

That's awful to hear what you are going through.
I agree with Dian and Tascha, I would try to find a gyn/onc.
I am very sorry for the loss of your brother too.  Please let us know how you are doing....

I agree, get it out!  Get a 2nd opinion from a gyn/onc.  They are specialists and have seen everything.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.  Godspeed

thank you to everyone for such a quick response I appreciate the advice and love the prayers. Monday I'll call reg. m.d. and have him refer me on to gyne-oncologist that's what my first instinct was. I'll let you know thanks and god bless.

You are definately in a tough spot.....if it was me...I would want whatever is in there out and I'd want it out now.....I would find the best gyn/oncologist I could and schedule surgery.  But, that's just me.
