Oh Sonie, I'm so sorry this is happening to you....happening to anyone. I'm praying this will finally be the end of this for you and you'll be able to heal and feel well again.
God Bless....Poke
Hi Sonie - We have missed you dearly girl. Sorry about having to go through surgery again in the next few days, but I am so glad you let us know what's going on - we will be praying for you. Let's hope this is the last that you have to deal with this nonsense. Here's a big hug for you. Keep us posted and all the best this week. Spicegirl
sonie if you dont mind me asking, where was your abscess and where is your fistula? I have an open abdominal wound right now and my doctor is worried about me forming a fistula. I had an abscess in my colon and it was drained, but after they removed the drain i developed an infection on my abdominal wall. Now air is being passed through my wound and last night and this morning its been bleeding a lot. Im debating on going to the ER. Well anyway, happy easter. Surgery and open wounds really suck.

whatfiftybucks..my ct scan also showed subcutanious air in my abdomin, and reactive changes in my subcutanious tissues...is this the same type of air you have also in yours??if it is,what did they tell you it was?ive been told by several people that subcutanious air is like a gas gangrene(Yuck)....sonie
I am glad that you are doing better now, I hope the rest of your surgeries are problem free.
OK, Sonie, thank you for stopping in with an update. I was worrying about you. In fact, these days I mostly stop by just to see how a few members of the Battalion are doing! I truly pray that this surgery will solve your problem, and you can recover, completely, and SOON.
