CA-125 Marker

What does a CA-125 marker of 98.9 mean in a 43 year old woman, who's mother died of ovarian cancer? In addition, there is a polyp in the uterus. Diagnostic surgery is being scheduled, and we are just curious what this all really means. Thanks.
