Solid and Cystic cysts of the ovaries

by girly girl, Dec 09, 2002 12:00AM
I am 27 and had a total abdominal hysterectomy 16 months ago when I had my daughter due to Cervical cancer.  I have my ovaries.  Now I have a cyst on my ovary that they say is complex,

solid and cystic componets.  They did CA125 test as well but I am waiting for the results.  How common is it for someone my age to develop ovarian cancer?  Also, my doc is thinking of removing my ovary?  I really do not want this, but I do not want to have future problems either.  Could it be cancer?  Is laparscopy the way to go?
