Went back to Doc today. So Confused!!!

Hello eveyone, I had to go back to doctor today. They said they had to stop the laproscope surgury because of the bleeding. For the people who read my other threads you already know this. Anyway, they said it was the strangest thing, were I had the appendectomy on March 29 there were no scar tissue or lessions as the expected. But, the left side of my pelvic is horrible they said it was covered in the lesions and scar tisse. My cysts are still on my left ovary because they said the could not get to it because of the damage caused from the lessions and scare tissue. They are talking about a hysto/ which I do not really want. They also said that the cysts need to be closely monitored. Because they are still unsure of what "type"
it might be since they could not get to them. Also, I will need to have an urologist present during the surgery because I guess the lessions and scare tissue has spread that far. I am really worried, if they do not know if the cycts are cancerous is the only opption a hysto. I have to go back thursday, because they said they want my body to recover from the last two surgeries. My right ovary is healthy, that is the good news. But my left side is totaly distroyed. Will I be alright, even if they don't know about the masses on my left ovary. Is this normal precedure considering I have had two surgeries in such short time periods. And is it normal for just one side to become completly covered and not the other? Could this be caused from the masses? What should I ask? Or what should I expect? They did a D&C also and said those results weren't back yet.

I'm so sorry to hear about all of this and send you good wishes. One very good thing though is that your doc wants a urologist there. Expert eyes and hands are welcome, that;s the way I think.

I suspect some ladies here with familiarity with what you are going through will be giving you some good information very soon. Good thoughts to you.

Hello there...you are on quite the roller-coaster ride...no fun I'm certain...what specialty does your surgeon posess? If you don't have a gyn/oncologist doing your surgery you are asking for real trouble....you need to get it right this time or you could end up with a fourth surgery....it is imperative you have a gyn/oncologist perform your surgery!!
No more messing around...it's time to get it right...just do it.
Sounds harsh, I know, but........
Peace.

Please have a gyn/onc do the surgery.  Dian is right, you need to have the specialists involved.  You are in my thoughts and prayers.  Godspeed
