Cervical Cancer vaccine
This Vaccine is going in front of the FDA today. Merck says 100% success rate . What could be up for debate is their intention to give this to girls when they are young, as a typical Vaccine. such as Polio Vaccine. I think that it has a pretty good chance of passing and will save millions of womens lifes through the generatins. Now they can move on to another Cancer. Maybe we should e-mail the drug companies of our wishes for more Vaccines. Just a thought......
Yes, my surgeon told me about this vaccine yesterday! Since most, maybe all, cervical cancers are caused by HPV, this will allow women to be immunized against at least one strain of female cancer. Now if they could only determine what causes OVCA and find some preventive measure for that as well ...
