Update on weird symptoms

Well, I went to a regular doc for the odd feeling in the back of my throat. Apparently my temp was normal since the nurse nor the doc made any comment on it. He felt things and I did feel some pain on the right when he pressed on the ab area. Nothing on the left.
He felt my throat and looked, etc, and decided that I had some edema from the trach tube from surgery. So he gave me some nasty syrup that doesn't last long and numbs everything from your lips to your stomach, and some Prednisone tabs for 5 days.
But, I still feel like I have a temp (and normal for me is in the 96-97 range, not 98.6), still have the weird throat thing, and am still getting cramping pains in my right side.
I've been such a pain to my gyn lately, with questions, and the BC, and the stitch, etc.
Should I call and mention the pain? Maybe ask for another TVUS to see what the heck is going on in there?

You have every right to ask for another transvag us.  You need to know if anything is going on in there.  Let us know what happens.

I just called the gyn, left her a message to please call about symptoms, since I just read a post where a doc said that twisting of an ovary can feel like localized cramps, and that's what I've been having for the past two-three days.
Any other thoughts on things I should ask about or ask for?

*sigh*
They called back... told me it was probably part of the natural healing process... But she told me to call her back if the pain got worse, so I guess that's a start.

It really sucks that you are getting the run around!  If you feel like things just are not right, call back and tell them that you want to be seen.  You have the right to know exactley what is going on with your body.  It probably is just your body healing, but what harm will it do to get it checked out?  NONE!!  At least it will give you peace of mind.  Keep us posted.  Kasie
