My recent ultrasound (due to bladder frequency) says "the right ovary measures 3.3X4X2.9cm and has a complex cystic solid appearance. The solid portions have no blood flow. No definite follicles are seen .... it may represent a haemorrhagic cyst, but a tumor needs exclusion". I am to have another scan by a specialist gyn place tomorrow and had blood tests(CA 125, FSH(?) etc. yesterday.I see the GYN next week and am now worried. Does anyone know if this cyst is more likely to be cancer as I am 55 and haven't had a period in over 6 months. What does solid cystic appearance mean?Is it bad that the solid potions have no blood flow?
It also found one large and one small fibroids and endometrial thickening to 1.2. Any information or thoughts would be appreciated.Anne.
