Dermoid cyst

by hazjan, Feb 12, 2004 12:00AM
Today i went for an ultrasound on the advice of my doctor.I have been having pain on the right side of my body (around the womb area) before and after my period that are regular and the pain has been intensefying.I have never had sexual intercourse and i'm 24 years old.i got the results which is as follows

"An (80x62)mm cyst containing a hyperechoic solid area is seen on the right ovary. It appears to be a demoid cyst.A thick walled cyst measuring (36x30)mm seen on the left ovary is probably a dermoid cyst as well. There is the suggestion a a (14x14)mm solid irregularly contoured mass within the fundus of the uterine cavity??nature of mass."

i really don't know what all of this means....Can your goodly institution help me understand this...thanks in advance
