Thank you for your comments. Wow I am sorry for your sufferings! And here I am complaining. I appreciate your kindness to even jot me a note! I went to my appt yesterday and they decided to give me a shot of Lupron and see if that does anything to help with my pain. From there they plan to do a procedure called endometrial ablation. It could possibly put me in menopause early?. Not sure if that was what I was expecting.. I was actually more concerned with these cysts and my left side pain..
The dr. does not seem too concerned with the cysts but more the heavy bleeding.
She also mentioned the pain that I am feeling could be a bowel issue? So I guess this isn't something that will be solved in one day.
Thank you for the support and the reccomendations....
:)
Hi, I know how you feel. When i was 11 i had an ovarian cyst the size of a soccer ball and had it and my right ovary removed. I thought that was it and then at at 28, Jan of this year with out any symptoms, I found out I had ovarian cancer from a cyst on my left ovary. I have no children and want them so I opted to keep my ovary and went through chemo. It was not as bad as I expected, you have to have a positive attitude. Well I thought all was well and I too was experiencing abdominal pain on my left side. I went and got it checked only to find out that I have another cyst. Now I have to wait a month and get another sono to see if it shrinks. What I am trying to say with all of this is too be strong, follow your feelings and know that it is TRUE, that MANY women get cysts and you just need to keep an eye on it. Not all are bad but always flollow up with doctors. I live on LI and if anyone ever needs a GREAT doctor, visit Long Island Gyno. Oncology, online. They are AMAZING!!
