ca-125

by Mel2, Apr 05, 2004 12:00AM
Within the normal range, does a higher ca-125 indicate a higher risk of recurrence?  In other words, does a ca-125 of 20 indicate more risk than a 10?  If so, at what level does this increased risk occur?

How common is it for ca-125 readings to bounce up and down within a general range?  I just recently went from a 17 to 21.  How much of a cause for concern is this?

Thank you!
