Can Ecotrin be given to an 80lb boxer and how much? (for arthritis pain)

Ecotrin is fine for a 80 pound boxer.   325 mg  twice to three times per day.  But please taper down to once daily after a couple of days to avoid side effects.  You should also use a good glucosamine supplement at a human adult dose.  If the Ecotrin loses it's effectiveness there are a number of Non-Steroidal anti-infammatories that are also quite effective.
