another question regarding genital warts

I understand that many people can carry and transmit HPV without ever getting warts.  If I did give this to someone else when I had the warts, would they be more likely to develop visible warts too because I had them, or does that not matter?

That's actually a very good question--and unfortunately the answer isn't known.  Some people with overt, easily visible warts may have more virus than those with asymptomatic HPV infection, which might make tranmission more likely.  However, there are no data on this.  But if there is a difference, it probably is a small one; so if it matters, it doesn't matter very much.
