antibiotics not working?

I contracted chlamydia and then had sex one time with my regular partner before I found out I was infected. We were both treated with antibiotics within a few weeks. In fact, in an earlier question I posted, you said (and I agree) that the antibiotics we took were "overkill". Three days of doxy and then a full dose of zithro, my zithro all in one day, her's stretched out over 4 days (starting the day after the 3 days of doxy), 500mg's one day and then 3 days of 250mg.

As far as I know she never had symptoms (and she never verified that she even had chlamydia), my symptoms (soreness in penis for 3 days, cloudy and painful urination) went away completely. We went through a lot and thought we had put this behind us and felt confident that the antibiotics had worked.

We didn't have sex again until about a week after finishing the antibiotics. We then had sex a second time (no other partners for either of us) about 10 days later.

On the day after having sex the second time (about 11-12 days after the first time), and about 16 days after we finished the antibiotics, I started having to urinate frequently, about every 2 hrs., although I can sleep through most of the night without having to get up and urinate. I have *no other symptoms* (urine isn't cloudy I believe, no painful urination, no discharge, no soreness). It's now been 5 days since the frequent urination started, and there's been no changes. Despite the frequency, my urination is not just a trickle, it's a "normal" amount most of the time, but I do feel more thirsty than usual.
