Follow up after 41 days of unprotected oral sex

Hello. I posted first on December 4th about an oral sex exposure (fellatio), that I had.  Here are the facts. Male 30 Monogamus all my life (till that stupid event), who use to run 20 to 25 miles per week

-November 30 2006, Fellatio lasted about 2-3 minutes

-December 4 2006, I visited am urologist who looked at my   privates and said that everything looked ok. Too soon to tell any way. Before the visit, I looked at my penis several times and found like a pimple like bump on my penis shaft and a little white discoloration on my penis shaft too (About  10 mm).  Non of these two have changed in any way as today. The Doctor said it was nothing to worry about.

-December 10 2006, Took HIV Test (negative) and VDRL test (negative). Also too soon.

-December 11 2006 visited another Urologist who looked at my privates and urethra and found nothing to worry about.

-December 18 2006 Had a nasty sore throat with some puss on the back of my throat. Went to the ER Doctor and gave a full week with Cipro, Diclofenac and pseudoephedrine . Sore throat went away after 3-4 days and then  got a sinus congestion for a week and a half. For what I red here it must be a common cold with a sore throat “from the garden on respiratory diseases”.

-December 22 2006, Went to same Urologist because I found some very small pimple like (1mm) spots that I found below the head of the penis (on the rim). They were all aligned. None of them have changed in any way or sore in any way. He told me that were pearly papules and that I had nothing to worry about.

-January 1 2007, started exercise and ran about 20 miles per week. Nothing unusual except for the fact that my foreskin was sticking a little bit more to the rim of the Gland, precisely on the PP.

-January 7 2007, started to feel some discomfort in my groin area, kind of an irritated feeling to both sides of my inner thigh. My penis did not itch at all.

-January 9 2007. At 40 days after exposure, took an HIV test (Negative thank God)and HSV1 and HSV2 IgG tests. This test will come back till Friday or Saturday.I don´t know the name of the test only that is by an ELISA methodology.

-Till today, I haven´t had any kind of discharge, blisters o sores in my penis or testicles. The only thing is the irritation in my groin. Yesterday, I googled a little bit, and found that Herpes some times may be mistaken for jocks itch.

So the questions are:

1.¿Can this be herpes? Because I red here and in other place that the first outbreak is usually the strongest so that got me confused .Right now I’m using Clorotrimazol 1% ointment hoping that I have Jocks itch o some fungus problem. When I put it on I feel an immediate relief but thru the day it comes back as a need to “readjust” my crotch any now and then.

2.After 41 days ¿Is it safe to say that I´m free of gonorrhea  or syphilis taking in to count that I haven´t had any discharges or pain while urinating in this hole time?

Sorry about the length, just want to be sure I didn’t left anything out

Only an untrained lay person or a miserably incompenent provider would mistake herpes for tinea (jock itch) or vice versa; the manifestations are totally different.  Clearly you have no STD from this virtually zero risk event.

1) You do not have herpes.  2) It is safe to assume you are disease free.

Thank you Doctor for your service and all the help you give thru this forum. It helped me a lot in the worst time of my life.

Results of HSV1 and HSV2 came back today, both negative with 0.49 for HSV1 and 0.17 for HSV2.

Thank you again.
