I recently had unprotected sex with a woman I have known for several years. She recently had surgery, underwent a battery of tests prior to that and has insisted that she is disease free. However w/in an hour after our encounter, I begin to feel a tingling sensation in the tip of my penis. I've been taking 500mg of tetracycline for going on four days now but the problem hasn't gone away. No rash, swelling, discharge or discoloration, just the tingling sensation I described and a frequent need to urinate. What is this? NGU?

You shouldn't have started self-treatment with tetracycline or anything else without medical evaluation.  In the event your symptoms persist and you do seek care, the ability to accurately diagnose the problem will be much lower than otherwise.  That said, if you had NGU, chlamydia etc the tetracycline would have cleared it up by now; it also would be effective against most bacterial urinary tract infections.  Stop the drug, wait a couple of weeks, and if your symptoms persist, see an STD-knowledgeable health care provider.
