Strange Odor?

by idontknow911, Mar 22, 2005 12:00AM
Ok here it goes.  I dont know what to think of it.  But my ex used to cheat on me alot and i dont know if she got something and passed it on to me.  I have been trying to figure out why i have a strange odor during my discharge or ejaculation or pre-ejaculation.  I dont know if that is something that can just occur or if it something to be worried about. I dont have any irritation or itching or burning of any sort. Just this odor.  Could it be and infection or is it more serious?

I'm not aware of any STDs that modify the odor of semen or other genital secretions.  If your semen appears abnormal in color or if you're having abnormal discharge from the penis, see a health care provider (e.g., you local health department STD clinic) and get it checked out.  Otherwise I wouldn't worry about it.
