symptons after carotid artery surgery

by jmetwin, Feb 25, 2006 12:00AM
My husband had surgery for a 99% blockage of the carotid artery 3days ago.  HE is very nausious and vomiting.  His voice is garbled.  However in the middle of the night he woke up and spoke fine.  This morning voice again garbled.  Could he be having TIAs.  How can I tell if he is bleeding internally?
