I don't know of quite the situation you're looking for, but I can tell you about my limited experience.
I brought my husband to India to work with Dr. Vasa (www.brainstrokes.com). She will be establishing a residential clinic soon, but it isn't yet in existence so we had to rent an apartment where she visited us for the therapy. My husband was doing well, making slow but steady progress, until he fell in shower (in presence of two helpers, with me in two rooms away) resulting in serious headHead and face reconstruction Head injury Head lice Indications of head injury Radial head injury injury. I wouldn't recommend that you come for Vasa Method treatment until her clinic is functioning, but once her clinic is functioning I would highly recommend it. She's an extremely gifted therapist, with enormous insight into neurological rehab.
Thanks so much for the feedback, much appreciated.
I am very sorry to hear about your husbands setback.
That must have been very distressing for you both.
I am continuing to research residential facilities for long term rehabilitation.
I have found an Ayurvedic doctor/ surgeon in Pune who specialises in neurological injuries (including strokeHeat emergencies Hemorrhagic stroke Stroke Transient ischemic attack) and neurodevelopmental disabilities.
His therapy has shown significant improvements in these conditions.
However, this is a non residential clinic.
His website is www.g-therapy.org
How did you find your current clinic?
How long are you planning on staying in India?
Thank you, I did see the doctors information.
Are you planning on seeing him?
I am not in the US and have emailed for further information.
(still waiting on it)
I’d like to know if the results he gets are from utilizing oxygen by mask or hyperbaric oxygen therapy or both
I think this is important because hyperbaric oxygen on its own reports a similar success rate
If hyperbaric is of interest to you.
There is a facility in India.
It is considerably cheaper in India than in many overseas facilities

There is an associated yahoo group and many parents are discussingDiscussing death with children his therapy
It could be worth reading through the posts there, if you have any interest
Just in case you want to see him in person before you leave India

How is your husband responding where you are?
Are you happy with your treatments?
Just out of interest how many hours a day were you doing vasa therapy and how long before you saw any improvements?

Few weeks after his fall I brought him to another part of India to a clinic (www.drmanik.com) that specializes in cranial osteopathy, which may be more relevant to his head injury. This is an actual residential clinic, which makes life a lot simpler than setting up an apartment, managing helpers, etc. Doesn't specialize in stroke, but a physical therapist and a speech therapist come each day to treat my husband, and the nurses help me to help my husband continue his Vasa Method exercises. Unfortunately, the doctor who is the centerpiece of treatment at this clinic left for a month in Australia four days after we arrived, so my husband had only four treatments from him. Since then he's had only the daily PT and ST. I don't feel I can recommend or not recommend this clinic until after the doctor returns and I can see how things develop with more of his treatments. Before the doctor left I did meet an Indian patient from Dehli who had a stroke 5 yrs ago and was pleased enough with his progress during one month here at this clinic that he's returning when the doctor returns. I'll let you know more after the doctor has been back for a couple of weeks. This clinic is definitely not inexpensive.
In California I knew a man who had a stroke and then he and his wife went to China for rehab, so it does happen, but I have no info about where they went.
Thanks so much for the feedback, much appreciated.

I agree the doctor in Pune treats mainly brain injuired children, however he also treats stroke and other injuires.
I wouldn’t discount his therapy because the site is geared to the treatment of children.
Quote from the site ….”G Therapy has shown significant results in the treatment of brain injuries and developmental disorders like Cerebral Palsy, Mental Subnormalities and Autism, and Nervous System disorders like Stroke, Chronic Depression, Neuropathies etc….”
