I'm hoping someone will see this who might be able to help!

I am a 25 year old female who feels like an old woman.  I have been diagnosed with depression, anxiety and hypothyroidism.  I am on synthroid, prozac and topomax.  My problem all started a couple years ago when I got Mono.  I had it for almost a year because I could not afford to take time off of work to get better.  For the past 2-3 years, I have not been myself.  I am constantly fatigued to the point that I cannot make it in to work at least once a week.  I literally feel like I need a nap every couple hours.  On top of that, I catch every virus that comes along.  About a year ago, I had HPV.  Several months ago, I developed sores in my mouth.  And now.....I have a major E-coli infection.  Plus, the sore throats, colds and stomach bugs never end.  I've seen every kind of doctor imaginable and they all tell me, "your tests were negative....your fine".  I'M NOT FINE!  I HAVEN'T BEEN FINE FOR YEARS NOW!  I know there's something wrong with me but I don't know where else to turn.  I truly believe there is an underlying cause to all the viruses/sicknesses I catch.  There's gotta be something the doctors are missing....but if they can't find it, how can I?  Can anyone offer any ideas or suggestions?  Please!!!

Mono is a very lengthy illness----but have been stressing about all of your symptoms and thinking to your self---what if---how about this-----Stress, anxiety and depression are three things that can rule your world without even realizing it---trust me I am there------the not knowing what is wrong with from your doctors is aggrevating--I know---been there------the knowing that you know something is not right and they do not want to take the time to listen---is also aggrevating.....I have to pretty much tell my specialist now what to do---only because he told me I know my body better than anyone else----I know when I am not right so he takes that into consideration----also it takes in the face that i have had about 30 surgeries in 9 years--so I guess he pretty much thinks I know what is going on in my life-----stand up and say Hey this is my life---I know what is going on with myself day in and day out----I came to you for help here are my symptoms and then go from there.....good luck!!!keep me posted----ok

I'd say either its still mono  (it does relapse and remit) or its CFS. The tests for mono are'nt always reliable, but if it is, you'd still find alot of helpful advice if you research CFS - there are alot of similarities between the two (I've had both).
Mono can be a soul destroying illness - esp. if you were previously very active. You say you never took time off, well that could be your problem - sometimes its right to give in to it and get that extra rest - otherwise you're just prolonging it.
it took me 9 years to learn how to take care of myself enough to get well. I had to learn to say no to the things others wanted me to do for a start and that was'nt easy. While this is not essentially a Psychological condition, I do believe you have to work on your mind and body together to get well.
I know how you feel about the 'you're fine' comments - they are so undermining - learn to ignore them - they're said out of habit without thought. Fact is - with mono and cfs, lots of tests come out negative - its one of the many frustrations - I wish you luck and look after yourself.
