High parathyroid with normal calcium and Vitamin D

Over the past 6 months I have had much bloodwork done. My parathyroid keeps going up - I believe it was about 90 about 3 months ago.  REcently I had bloodwork done again and calcium, vitamin D, and kidney function normal but parathyroid was 127 (I believe about 60 is normal). I have had a loss of appetite and have been losing weight but I also suffer from depression although I have never responded to depression with weight loss.

I have been researching and have not found much material on normal labs and elevated parathyroid.  Should my parathyroid remain this high when other levels are normal? What should I do?

Thanks-

Check out this site it may help you.  Don't know much about parathryoid but this site even has video operations and seem to know what they are talking about. Good luck! www.parathyroid.com
