painless pressure in head

For the last few months, I have noticed a feeling of pressure inside my head.  I've described it to friends as feeling as if someone had pumped air into my head using a bicycle pump or something.  I have no headaches, the pressure is painless, and is most frequently behind my eyes, though I have felt it further back in my head as well.  I began taking Celexa (citalopram) in august, so I was thinking it might be a strange side-effect of the medication, but I'm not sure.  I've also heard it could be migranes.  If anyone has any idea what this could be, I'd love to know! thanks!

A CT would still possibly be helpful. You can see an awful lot that way. An MRI would probably be even better, but costs more. Most Dr.'s woould do the CT first I think. Either way, it's quick, and painless.

no, I have no history of sinus problems.  Would a CT still be helpful?

Do you feel it in your cheekbones, or can you feel your pulse in your head when you bend over? Do you have any history of sinus problems? If so, it could be sinus pressure from blocked cavities. You would be surprised to know how much of your head can deel sinus pressure. It's not just like the commercials. If you have good medical insurnce, a CT of your head and sinuses would be wise, easy, and painless. It could reveal a lot.
