have stuff growing on toncils but not making me sick

I looked in my throat and I have gray stuff growing on one of my tonsils but it is not making me sick. What can be causing this? I had a bad case of strep a few weeks ago. Can it be possible that I am now a carrier? I find it odd why I would have **** on my left tonsil but not show signs of an illness.  I find this real strange.Does anyone have any ideas on what this is?

Probably tonsiloliths.  I get them.  The ones I get form in a place on the tonsil where I can pop them out.  They are pretty gross and smell horrible when they pop out but they are harmless.  Do a search on it on the internet.
