thoat feel thick or lump in throat

I do not know how to discribe this. my throat has been feeling thick or somtimes like a lump or frog in my throat feeling that comes and goes over the past few months. i know during this course of time i battled a strep throat then the flu then sinitius and that there are some days my throat feels normal and somedays it gets to feeling fat or abstructed in some way.  its been feeling like this especially over the past 2 days. can it be post nasal drip causing this? my sinuses feel better and its pretty much over with, bbut i wonder if i could be having some sort of drainage causing my throat problem even though i seem to be over my sinus thing. is there a way i can tell if this is something that will blow by and get better by itself or if i shold see some sort of specialist. the chances i think that it is caused by my sinus issues but is there a way for me to know when it is time to see a dr again? i am concerned that it could me more than a side affect of the health issues i had this sumer

hey this is Dr. M  .... and i would like to tell you some cures to your issue it is that you should go to bed a little earlier so that you ain't a crab in the morning and also I think you  should go to a doctor a find out what is wrong with your throat but if they don't know the I suggest that you just gargle with razor blades  because me Dr. M  .... the most best doctor don't know how to cure you .   And that i have no clue what to tell you so make sure I'M on your funeral list.

It could be a nodule, thyroid cancer or just sinus issues like you say, or, other issues.  However only a doctor can diagnose your situation.  If its a thyroid issues doctor can tell by hands on examination first.  If doctor feels thyroid then blood test are needed to confirm, plus other test if it goes deeper.

If just sinus, doctor might prescribe something to heal it, faster.

Good Luck.
