Good to read topic brought up again. I has been posted before
on Womens Forum long time ago. It also vaguely comes up ea.
Oct. in US since that is Breast Cancer Awareness mo. Dr's have
been trying to remember to ask young women abt any symptoms
but simply ask 'Do you examine ea mo?' Women are told to exam
for most common, a feeling of firm lumps or feeing of tissue
change. Inflamm. Cancer feels soft-fatty but is usually
consistant w/ a pinkish red swollen lump on a visual exam &
most in under 45. The TV campaigning has been starting & have
noticed verbal comments to this type. It's more fibrous & to the
surface. Self exam also means ck by touch & a look at yourself
in the mirror for differences. Mammo techs look for this while
doing compression of exam. Words aren't getting through to male
MD's more than female. Good topic for the ladies to read. Have
read some posts where they say 'I have this pink spot rash but
not lumpy'. It could be the start of & exam is needed. Thank
you for hopefully much read reminder. Ladies, strip & look in
your mirror!

Meaning, that I think most of us care in that way.
You are more than welcome, GravesLady. Certainly something that I think should be passed around.
Life, survival is all about sharing what we know. We deserve knowing what we can. It could very well save a life (if not our own) and to me, that means everything. Having said that, I think that applies to many of us here. ;-)

Thanks for the info. I didn't know about this type of cancer.
Very scary.
I emailed the letter/article to my family and friends just incase they didn't know either.
Thanks again - great info!
