calf injury

I am a 51 year old man.Injured calf 1 1/2 years ago(tore it playing raquetball , than came back too soon and injured it again). Still not better. Have tremor when bend toes, Fasciculations all over(worse in injured calf), burning stiff muscles in both legs and arms. Have seen neurologist, 3 orthopedic doctors, rhuematologist, have had mri on lower back and leg(nothing signifigant on back and just inflamation on leg but healed calf, with a suggestion to have another ultrasound), emg(twice and both times normal), ultra sound. Have had physical therapy- only person to say she thinks it is a trapped nerve in scar tissue. At least she got rid of my limping around. I was told to just keep exercising and push through it. Not working! Muscle twitches and nervy feeling getting worse. If I flex calf muscle, it looks like a bunch of bees are moving around in my muscle. Even long walks cause fatigue and pain in leg.Yet, I pass all the strength tests and can do any rehab exercise they tell me to. Just can't believe my active life needs to be curtailed or I will be living with this condition forever. Any suggestions? Mri is over a year old. Would it be woth pushing for another? All doctors say not necessary.

You have seen multiple specialists and there has been a comprehensive evaluation.  It will be unlikely that I can come up with something over the internet that has not been considered.

I agree with the ultrasound and physical therapy.

An repeat MRI may give better imaging clarity and can be considered.  I would also consider nerve conduction tests and an EMG to determine the extent of the nerve damage.

These options can be discussed with your personal physician.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
