Leg bone crushed

by nolijseeker, Feb 13, 2007 12:00AM
Hello everyone,

I’m new to this forum so I will try to be precise and clear. My name is Ali Mohamed and I’m original from Somalia, but now a US citizen. The reason I’m on this forum is that I truly need help. Actually it is not me that needs help, but the person that needs the help is 4-year-old girl who is currently living the war thorn nation of Somali. This girl is my niece. When day while the girl was walking she fell into ditch and broke a leg. The bone in her leg was total crush (it may have to be amputated). As may know or heard Somalia has been in civil war for 17 years. During this 17 years all the health system where destroyed and there is no help for this innocent child.

Now my question is does anyone know any nonprofit organization that can help this innocent child.

I truly appreciate from the bottom of my heard for your advice or help

Ali

Ask the Somali Red Crescent Society to see if they can coordinate a donor of services here in the US.  Medical treatment in the US is exorbitantly expensive, unfortunately.  Many institutions will discount their costs, but it remains very expensive, and you'll need to find a donor.

Good luck!
