Urinary incontinence

Had TAHBSO 8 yrs ago. I have incontinence occasinally when liftin something, going up steps, laughing, sneezing, and also when completing void, dribble or urinate more as I begin to stand. Had rectocele surgery as well in 1987. Kegels are not helping. Also feel "pressure" if I do a lot of lifting, houswork etc. that mimics a UTI and take macrodantin postcoital. What could this be and should I see gyn or urologist?

If the incontinence is troubling you. See a Urologist or Urogynecologist. There are surgical and nonsurgical options available (e.g., pessary, or sling procedure). Many women with incontinence do not get help, or get only temporary help from Kegels. However, that may be because they are not well trained in doing the Kegels. You might consider going to a pelvic floor physical therapist, who can coach you in how to do the Kegels optimally.
