stage 3 uterine prolapse with rectocyle

I am 54 yrs old and have an enlarged lobe of the cervis prolapsing and a small rectocyle.
Is it possible to just reattach and pull up the uterus ?

so far the doctors want to do a complete hysterectomy and I want something less invasisive.
What should be my next step ?

If the uterus is normal sized, then it is possible to resuspend the uterus and cervix to your internal ligaments, to reduce the prolapse. This can sometimes be done laparoscopy, or through the vagina. This is usually not the most durable way to fix the problem, but for women who want to preserve the uterus, it is an option. The hysterectomy is not mandatory, unless there is a problem with uterine or cervical precancer. Obtain an evaluation from a trained urogynecologist, who will be able to discuss these options in detail.
