Been to 10 different doctors and they cant figure it out/Think its Epidymitis

OK where do I start; this pain has been going for over 2 and half years; one day I woke up over 2 years ago and had pain in my testicle and groin area; it doesnt hurt when i pee or ejaculate i have no sexual problems; i was first diagnosed with a UTI; that was not it then i was diagnosed with prostatytis; took alot of expensive meds and it never worked; i have been to 10 different doctors, 5 different urologists, neurosurgeons; different family doctors, and now am seeing 2 different pain management doctors; right now i am taking 4 ultram pills and 6-7 10mg/500mg hydrocodone pills per day just to keep the pain down; one of the urologists did a cyscostopy on my; i have done 2 MRI's, 2 cat scans; xrays and they have come up with nothing. If i go off my pain medicine the pain is extreme and i cannot even get out of bed. Now the last urologist diagnosed me with IC (intersticial cystisis); i dont think i have this; i have none of the symptoms; i think i have epidymitis; but i am not sure; the only thing i have is this pain in my groin/testicles; i dont have any swelling or tenderness; it seems like if i drink alcohol or pepsi it makes it worse; what is weird is the first year i did not need pain medicine at all but it has gotten increasingly worse over the last year; all i know is i cant continue to live with this pain; i need to figure out what is wrong with me; all the tests they have run on me have come back negative; they have run blood test the whole thing and have come up with nothign; i need help on the direction i need to go in and what to ask my doctor to do; i need helppppppppppppppp; any help or advice would be greatly appreciated thanks

It will be difficult to diagnose over the internet, considering you have been to 10 doctors already.

A urine test as well as ultrasound of the scrotum can evaluate for the possibility of epididymitis.  I'm sure that this was considered already.

Another option would be to consider a transrectal ultrasound of the prostate.  This can evaluate for a prostatic abscess - which antibiotics will not treat appropriately.

Interstitial cystitis can be diagnosed with a potassium sensitivity test.  If positive, medications like Elmiron can be considered.

These options can be discussed with your personal physician - or in conjunction with another urology opinion.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
