Penis pain

by unknown problem, Aug 02, 2006 12:00AM
Hello, I have wrote before and have also seen a few doctors about me problem.   Well this problem has been going on for about 11 months. I have had a pain right below my penis head on the bottom side of my shaft. The pain is not bad but is constant and feel like it is worsens when I need to urinate. It gets alittle better after urinating also. The pains start with these tiny skin color(red at times) spots that have completely cover my entire penis head and have change the text of my skin to look wrinkled. I have had a few removed and test only to find out they wasnt herpes or warts.  I was told it could be PPP but this bumps covers the entire head going all the way up to the tip. Plus they have seemed to get big over the last 6 months. I had a birth mark on my head before and now the birth marks are just tiny bumps like the rest of them execpt they are the color the birth mark was. I have no idea what I need to do as far as the pain. Or a list of things that could be wrong.. Im just trying to live my life happily and i am not with this constant pain.  Thanks

Infection should be ruled out.  This can be evaluated by sending the urine off for analysis and culture.  Testing via the urine or urethral swab can also be done to evaluate for STDs like gonorrhea or chlamydia.

If negative, a cystoscopy can be performed to evaluate for anatomical abnormalities like a polyp or urethral stricture.

Regaring the spots - they can be evaluated by a dermatologist.  If herpes and HPV have been ruled out, rashes like a fungal infection or dermatitis can be considered.

These options can be discussed with your personal physician.

Followup with your personal physician is essential.
