adipex vs phentermine?

| . | I started taking phentermine 37.5mg tablets (the oval white pills) a few months ago. I initially lost 7 lbs in 7 weeks (which is after a YEAR plateau). I am pre-diabetic and my Dr put me on this to help me get to my goal and to hopefully not develop full blown diabetes. When I finished my first month of phentermine and got my refill it was a different looking pill (white with blue dots). I asked the pharmacy about it and they said that ALL of the phentermine looks like this. Well call me crazy but I SWEAR that it doesn't work as well!!! It works for a few hours but then by lunchtime I am STARVING. I break up my day into 5 little meals but nothing seems to help. Is that possible? What can I do? I read that sometimes the brand name (Adipex) works better? I've been trying to lose weight for almost 2 years now, started out at 194 and am down to 152 (I'm 5'7). I run 3-4 times a week and even completed a 1/2 marathon. It makes me SICK that I can't get down to my goal weight!!! What gives?
Thanks if you made it this far.... :-)

| . | Well I don't know if Adipex works better than Phen or not....I've never tried Adipex before. But as far as ALL Phentermine looking alike, that is not true. Some are circular tablet form, some are white oval tablets with blue specs, some are blue and white see through capsules and the list goes on and on. Go to phentermine.com they have descriptions of the various types of phentermine, also I find their forum to be very helpful.
Hope this helps |

| . | Hi I really would like some advise:
I am wondering if anyone knows where to get adipex without a prescription. I do not have a primary physician as I just moved to the US.
PLEASE HELP! |

| . | the blue and white pills (capsules) are a time release form of phentermine which soundls like what you got on your refill. It usually comes in 30mg. Maybe you got a lower dose as well? I take the capsules because I like how it "kicks in" later. The first prescription that you had with the white tabs are stronger and start working through your bloodstream right away. I have found no difference in brand vs generic. Also, your body builds up a tolerance for phentermine, which is why it may have been less effective the 2nd time around. |
