Losing baby weight

by Roofus44, Feb 27, 2007 12:00AM
I'm a mother of three, (6, 5, & 1-1/2) you would think I would get enough excersise huh? lol I currently have a full time job, and then come home to my other job (being mommy and wife). I am overweight too. I have hormone problems, but not as severe as some. I haven't been able to lose my "baby weight" after my last one was born. I'm getting up at 4:15 every morning and going to the gym to work out for an hour. I have been back at the gym for about 2 months now and have not seen any progress yet. I have my days that I push harder than others, and I know that muscle weighs more than fat. But then again I'm not losing any inches either. I try to watch what I eat (I admit I have a sweet tooth), and if I do have sweets, I try to have them in the first part of the day. I also have kidney problems, so a high protein diet don't work for me either.

If anyone has any suggestions, would be happy to hear them.

I doubled my weight with my first...and still was up when i got pregnant with my 2nd.
I am now 105 pds....5"1.
I have to say pilates and dr. atkins had a huge part in my weight loss.
However I now eat what i like....Still staying quite active.
Pilates...was a huge part of my slimming down..looking long and lean.
I must say I am now super fit....and love the new me!....
It will take some time...but be good to your self...I highly recommend pilates.
Not only will it help you get fit....it will make you look and more importantly feel great!!!!
