After clomid

by Colleenburke, Jul 25, 2006 12:00AM
Hello all!  Im new at all this, but I recently got a prescribed CLOMID.  I have never had a regular period, and I am wondering if after you use clomid, will your body then start to menstrate and it SHOULD or back to how it did.  This is if you take clomid and DO NOT get pregnant? I have been under the impression that the clomid with not only make it possible for me to get pregnant, but if that does not happen, my period will no longer be irregular, my hormones will become normal, and my skin will clear up.  Am I believing for the impossible here? any thoughts?

Clomid makes you ovulate, therefore if you if ovulate and DO NOT get pregnant you will get your period. You may need to keep taking it to keep ovulating though. I do not ovulate unless I take clomid and in turn do not get my period.

I got pregnant on my third cycle of clomid (50mg daily for 5 days). I am 16w6d.
